In the middle of January I was at the startup: NIGHTS guest speaker in Essen (Germany) and gave a lecture about my research topic. The title of the lecture – “Blockchain – the myth, the reality, the future” – already suggested that both the history and the current developments should be treated here. The topics presented in the Coworking Cafe KaBü I summarized for the blog of the Ruhr: HUB again.

„A blockchain is seen by many critics as a hammer with which one tries to fasten a screw. It works somehow, but actually there are much faster and better methods.
