On 26th of August we were part of the 1st Villeroy & Boch Startup Pitch Days in Mettlach. From a large number of applications, 9 startups , whose products and solutions best fit the Villeroy & Boch core business in the areas of tableware, bathrooms and wellness and can digitally expand it, were invited to this day.
Christian started the race for us and had 5 minutes to present himself and our business idea to the audience and a top-class jury (including Frank Göring, CEO of Villeroy & Boch AG).
In the end our AI-based software sentin.ai vision, for the automated detection of errors in visual inspections and quality control, could convince both the jury and the audience, so that we were voted 1st place of the Startup Pitch Day! Second and third place went to Werkbad and Kulero, which produce custom-made furniture and edible cutlery.
